Recognition of Achievements
2012 Designed and led the implementation of the FarmFLOW projects initially piloted in the Pumicestone & later expanded to the Sunshine coast that won the SEQ Healthy Waterways Rural & Agricultural Award. 2011 Led the Queensland Wetland Program's agricultural projects that received an award for Excellence in Research, Innovation, Education & Policy from the Stormwater Industry Association of Qld, for the development and extension of a training package involving stormwater modelling and treatment for rural industries. 2004 The Mary River Catchment Coordination Association won the National Rivercare Award for the implementation of the Mary River Rehabilitation Plan after receiving the Qld Rivercare Award in 2002.. This plan was devised and initially championed by Brian Stockwell from 1999-2002. 1999 As Catchment Coordinator facilitated the rapid implementation of a number of Catchment Strategy priorities that led to the Mary River Catchment Coordination Association winning the Queensland Rivercare Award. Devised and led the implementation of the Cooloola Conservation Strategy which resulted in Cooloola Shire Council winning: 1997 Queensland Arbor Day Award for Local Government 1996 Queensland Planning Institute Award for Excellence in Planning 1995 Queensland Landcare Award for Local Government 1991 Initiated and led the Noosa Council's Landcare Program which received the National Landcare Award for Local Government after winning the 1990 Queensland Landcare Award for Local Government |
